As I am not christian, I am forced to ask, how is this blasphemous? I thought that was an impious word or action concerning God or religious things...

This, to me, seems to be extremism and excessive piety.

I have seen this. I have never understood why Aspies are the ones considered weird. Okay we don't make eye contact and we don't follow every little nuanced social norm but at least we don't engage in highly irrational and harmful rituals.

Maybe that's why the rest of the world considers us weird?

Well, the NTs do control what is weird and what is not so I guess that is true. It's weird not to say God bless you or follow any other irrational social norms. Oh well.

We this, we that. Don't speak for a diverse group of people. The only thing you have in common with these people you identify with is autism, and autism doesn't protect you from acting irrationally. DEFINITELY not highly irrational or harmful rituals. One irrational thing I see in this community is this stereotyping stuff. It sounds just like racism xD (and even saying things about your own little demographic counts). Taking traits of some members and spreading it on the whole group, and then there's the required acting like you know everything to do so. I don't trust anyone here to actually know everyone or most people in their group, and a lot of statements are basically 'good, us, them, bad'. Some autistics claim to make eye contact actually. I doubt you have statistics. Like anything you need to back up negative (or prideful) claims with some kind of proof or *something*. But nobody here can justify acting like they're the authority on most of any demographic. Some people preach about what's so irrational about other people but fail to see that their own reasoning or what they're doing is irrational... It makes me sad that some near very likable humans STILL do this irrational thing of stereotyping a race, millions in a country, etc. Some racists are likable in personality besides their racism, even. I wouldn't have imagined that that would be the only real flaw.. I don't know what I was imagining but not that... I mentioned racism because it's doing the same thing and it's not that much better than racism, and it stings just like racism. anyway I'm rambling and I don't know the chances that writing this would change anything in anyone. Some people see, and some don't. Some don't care even after you point out it stings just the same. Some people talk about what they went through, sounding just like a discriminated against person being racist against the race they think it's okay to be racist against (Black Panthers hate group, anyone...). I hate that. Alright, now, I'll shut up.
