It's been rumored for YEARS, long before now, that Trump takes amphetamines or other stimulants. He has bragged for a quarter century that he does not sleep much, because supposedly he has better ways to spend his time, according to him. Amphetamine addicts can go for a month or more without sleep, and it causes various "meth psychoses". Long term (such as 25+ years) use of amphetamines hasn't really been studied, since addicts to meth usually die long before then. But it's possible that if Trump indeed has used "speed" for decades that it is finally catching up to him. I should note that I'm not saying Trump is using meth, but a milder form of amphetamine such as those used for ADHD, such as Vyvanse, which is descended from the "dexies" of the 70s. Trump may have ruined his brain...but the scary part is that millions regard him as cold sane.

Another good one is to say people you don't agree with are on some form of brain altering chemical.

The one thing we do know for certain is that Trump suffers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. What his followers suffer from I'd rather not venture a guess. It ain't good s**t, though!

Science is making good progress though and it is possible there will be very significant breakthroughs on early intervention in the future.

No-one can know if Trump's brain is showing the characteristic changes, or not, unless he consents to examination and allows the findings to be known. AD changes can show up in the brain decades before outwardly observable behaviour consistent with this terrible affliction.

Trump has openly admitted he normally gets about 4 hours of sleep a night and has better things to do than to sleep more than that.

He says if there was a way to stop sleeping entirely, he would take it because he has better things to do than to waste time on sleeping.

When you sleep less than 6 hours a day, on a regular basis, your body requires outside stimulants to keep going and to get the hormones flowing (The ones you get during sleep).
There comes a point where the amount of Caffeine needed to maintain that level of functionality, is dangerous for the body.

I was able to get away with large amounts of Caffeine when needed.
But my sleep problem is genetic... and medicated now.
