You may be sitting home at your computer tonight, but Obama is partying the night away at the taxpayer's expense in the White House with all his big time millionaire and billionaire celebrity pals. No press allowed. Reporters out on the street have seen Steven Spielberg, Meryl Streep, David Letterman, Lena Dunham, Paul McCartney, Al Sharpton, Robert De Niro, George Lucas, and who knows how many others.

Maybe Obama brought his selfie stick so they could all make one last anti-Trump video together.

The president pays for all private events out of pocket. This is a tradition dating back to the 1800's. Taxpayers only pay for official events.

Here's some more out of touch celebrities for ya

Trump won't really be able to spend his presidential salary on much, considering it's only going to be one dollar per year. And that's before taxes.

Are you sure? I'd say taking a $4,000,000 vacation for a few days to play golf with Tiger was private and unofficial. And how about the huge vacation trip he took Michelle's family along on? Are you saying he's managed to accumulate enough in office to casually pay for this out of his own pocket? He has NOT paid for any of it! Estimates for Obama family travels are around $96,000,000...$96 million while people live in alleys and eat from garbage cans......That money should not have been wasted this way.

He's the same slimy little rat he's always been (but with better manners, of course).

I think you are sadly mistaken if the expensive parties are going to end once Trump gets into office--even if he can't get any A-List celebrities to attend.

Who the f*ck cares how the President spends his time, now that his term is almost up? Republicans use to defend all the vacation time Reagan and W. Bush used to take.

^^^

Now you're just sounding like Hillary Bill..."what difference does it make now..." It makes a difference because it lets us see what a f'ing liar she is...in everything.

What difference Bill????? You've got to be kidding. When the Democrats stop their attack on our next President, then come ask me the same question....OK?

If they've stopped (ho ho ho) then we can agree, but until then everything goes...as you certainly know, and apparently, practice.

Obama has a right to party. To the people complaining and making an issue of it- did you complain this much when Bush and other presidents had a party at the end of their term?

This reminds me of when people make an issue about president vacations- but ONLY when its a president they hate. If its one they love- somehow the vacation is fine. Double standard and/or hypocritical nonsense.

Would you also say the same thing is true of all the criticism of President elect Trump?

Because if you suggest it's OK for Democrats to slander this man and we can't complain back then I'd ask you what you think you're doing here....it's obviously not to have a fair debate.
