I know some people are on Medicaid for necessary healthcare, so a reduction by 25% may be a big deal.

While the amount of money the government has available for services shouldn't have anything to do with how many people are on the disability rolls, in practice it does. 8O Getting on disability may get tougher.

Americans keep voting for these Republitards. They get what they deserve. Nothing. Some people are just too stupid to have good things.

"We are no longer going to measure compassion by the number of programs or the number of people on those programs,"Mulvaney told reporters Monday. "We are going to measure compassion and success by the number of people we help get off of those programs and get back in charge of their own lives."

This runs counter to the idea that we will have a federally funded "guaranteed income" and health benefits for those whose jobs have been taken away by automation.

Trump supporters continue to line up to take their economic beating.

It's hilarious how stupid Americans are to the rest of the world following American affairs. There was this article in CBC news that interviewed this couple who were Trump supporters who said that without Obamacare that both of them would be dead, but would vote for Trump regardless. Both only in their 60s, one was on home oxygen (extremely expensive) and the other was on $4000/month of medication.

It really opens a window into the mindset of the average Trump supporter that completely defies all logic. They are so brainwashed that they will literally die for Trump and his policies.

In addition to food stamps, Trump also slashes Social Security Disability Insurance, a core program to help people who are physically unable to work, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, a key welfare program.

And nonphysical disabilities such as Autism. The Trump administration is proposing these cuts, Trump has not actually lowered the funding for these programs.

Well what difference does that make, even if funding hasn't been lowered yet....he still means to lower it which still shows he cares little for the citizens he is supposed to serve as president.

Actual money spent and how it is used is what matters. He might be a factor in what actually gets spent, but Congressional Republicans and their constituents are more of a factor
