who here remembers what they were doing/where they were at, when Princess Diana was killed? I was reading my AOL news feed when it popped up. I remember that same time period was the death of Saint Teresa. I watched both their funeral rites on TV.

I remember being SOOOO PO'ed over it, practically shouting "WHAAATAPHUQINWAAASTE!!" repeatedly, wondering aloud why it had to happen like that, why she wasn't wearing her GD seatbelt! wondering why her worthless bodyguard let this happen, cursing that GD drunk chauffer.

He was just far too into fantasizing about being feminine hygiene products , The peoples princess was far too good for that guy.

I don't remember where I was when she died , but I know where I was at her funeral - glued to the telly feeling like I'd lost a family member

I remember I was sitting in the living room working on some project with the television playing in the background. I became aware that they were going on and on about Princess Diana like they always have and started looking for the remote to change the channel. That's when they put up the epitaph and me thinking oh my god. I was glued to the TV from that point.

That was my dad's response when I asked him about this.

I remember wondering if at the time, Saint Teresa and Princess Diana were comparing notes in the hereafter.

They both probably ended up down below.

The tv was on in the background on mute and I knew someone had died cos the hallmarks were there; bouquets of flowers on the ground, reporter doing an outside broadcast. Not really caring for the deaths of people I don't know I changed channel and it was the same thing... Changed to a third channel and same again so I knew it had to be someone pretty famous so I turned the sound up.

I don't actually remember.

But it was a terrible way to go to the Hereafter.
