Can someone make me more hopeful?

Anyways, I'm seeing signs of hope.
Hope is out there ...
it would help if people would be more open to it.

Hope is nothing but an illusion. The world runs on pure chance and nothing more. So call me a fool, but I also believe that hope is out there. Sometimes we can't just leave our lives up to chance. The worst thing you can do is not try at all. If you try to the best of your ability, no one can fault you if you fail. You will know your limitations and you won't have to chase after something you think has been missing the whole time. This awareness can lift a great deal of stress from a person's mind.

I know that the world was supposed to end.....when the Crab Nebula was formed around 1000 AD.

And many, many times since.

Nope....it hasn't ended, despite all the prognosticators.

We are still here, worrying about the end of the world.

And we'll still be here worrying many millennia from now.

some people said that at 2000 y2K, the world would end. and the world did not end.

the world has yet to end, thus far.

besides, what if the world ends, then what?

how does that affect what you do today or nowadays?

if i were psychic and somehow "knew", that the world were ending on a certain date, then what?

what would i have done differently, than otherwise?

waste more $$, b/c no need to fear going broke or having to file Chapter 11. or having to sleep on the under a bridge or having to panhandle?

verbally tell off precious lil homophobic "people"?

seriously though

the my future prospects. options. are severely limited.

and if, and when, the world ends, that has little to do with what i do today.

although if the world were ending tomorrow, i would not care so much about being fat.

but whatever

on a functional level

and i would not worry about getting a job
