I hate Wrong Planet!

Lately, I have been enjoying this site less & less. There have been members on here who have been sending me rude comments when I felt I did nothing wrong. One of them was nice enough to explain themselves, which comforted me slightly.



I got another message today from someone else who criticised me when all I did was ask a question & try to get help with something. I reported the comment, and nothing was done about it. I am a sensitive person, and their comment really hurt me badly, so I do not want any further communication with that person.



I only enjoy talking with 2 members on this entire site.



I am not seriously considering leaving Wrong Planet, and never returning.

I just don't read my PM's unless it's someone I know and want to hear from. You can also delete messages without reading them or block messages from all members, except mods.

Big dragon hugs. I'm so sorry people have been so rude and hurtful to you. I'll miss you if you leave, but I understand if you decide to. More dragon hugs for you.

Thank you for the big dragon hugs, dragonsanddemons. I just wrote you a message in The Haven, and I hope I can still be here for you. I think from now on, I will only accept private messages if any one wants to talk to me; I will not be posting on any other topics. Also, I will still communicate with you & my 1 other friend on here. I would also miss you if you left, but I would also understand if you did leave.

I'm sorry for being rude. I wasn't upset at you; it was just a suggestion. Also, I should confess that it was done out of partly selfish reasons. I was afraid that other people would get mad at you for it, and I didn't want that to happen, so I thought I'd say something first.

He means that if you could endure WP, you can endure anything.

Now I am finished entirely, and I am not coming back. As of right now, I will only be communicating with the only 2 members I like on Wrong Planet. This site is not a safe place any more.

I'm sorry to hear that. Is there anything we can do to make it a safer place for you? I think you're very kind and caring, and I'd hate to see you go. Again, I'm sorry for what I said.

What exactly is the issue?

What do folks do that you consider to be verbal abuse on WP?

I skimmed your posting history. Most of it consists of nothing more than typing single numbers on those counting threads. Cant get any safer than that.

Only late in your tenure on WP did you even start to engage in actual conversations with folks. Which is a good step up. But I don't see you mixing it up with folks like us regulars on the PPR do (not saying that you should do that,dont even know why I do it, just that it isn't obvious that you're getting grief from folks from my quick scan of your posting history).

I mean...do folks beat up on you because of politics? Or your sexual orientation? Or your bad grammar? Or what?
