What hurts more when getting flamed

When I get flamed or bashed by an NT I careless and move on but when I get bashed or flamed by another aspie, it hurts a lot. Simply because we're both share the same condition so I'm always expecting the same respect and niceness but instead I get the NT behavior from someone (on here) when I did one of my polls and that person was an aspie, not an NT.


When I say by an aspie in my poll it can also imply someone anywhere on the autism spectrum, PDD, or diagnosed as autistic or HFA.

The last answer in the poll means it doens't matter who flames or bashes you because you have the same feelings so none of it hurts more or less.

When I get flamed, regardless of who is doing it, I just ignore it.

I find NT's stupid and aspies are easy to combat in such situations, because you can just slam them back. Both are easy to defeat.

I agree. I don't get sad about it or anything like that. If they're espousing a belief that has been proven invalid, then I get angry because people spreading mis-information makes me pissed.

I guess its about the same.

But I know that there is a biological basis for a fundamental communcation problem
with aspies. So I guess i get less mad from Aspies.

A person must have power over you to inflame you. It's up to you to decide if they have that power. I don't give that power out freely.

It doesn't hurt at all. If anyone's hurt, it's generally the person doing the flaming Really, I've won before I even get the message the flamer sends.

I dont really know what flaming means but I will assume it means insulting comments?

I tend to be overly sensitive,constantly looking for insults ,so in that way I may be an easy target...however,I dont always know I am being insulted...and am less likely to be hurt by the opinion of someone I dont respect then someone who I think is ussually compassionate or intellegent(rare in 3D world but more common here...IMO)so,I would probably be hurt more from comments here...I can also be hurt when there is no "intent" to do so...just by being constantly ignored or not having many people relate to me...nothing worse then being a freak even among other freaks..(I mean that in the nicest way)..

I'm just glad that they have the decency to say it.

Doesn't matter, my feelings are the same when it happens. I ignore it. I have my own problems, and just get on with it. Two fingers up to the person who bashed/flamed me.

When I get flamed by an NT, I laugh at them and think they're ignorant, when I get flamed by an aspie, I assume they have temper problems, or just don't care.

BUt I do ask for it a lot of the time, so it doesn't really come as much of a shock.

I get flamed by NTs off the Internet.
