great! we have a certain percent of evil people and suddenly everyone is bad in that profession.
generally it doesnt matter at which medical profession you look there will be extreme bad people, but also there will be extremely good people.
if you want to give advice about abuse by psychatrists then direct the people to sites where they can report those people, please dont generate mindless fear. good psychatrists can help.
This type of prejudice is exactly why people sometimes mistreat us. Deciding everyone in a category is bad because of a few is wrong, and can be dangerous.
Do you want to say more about what the person who hurt you did? It sounds like something awful happened, I'm sorry you went through whatever you've been going through.
Actually it is entirely logical that psychological traits will gravitate towards certain professions, those who like to kill would become a soldier, pedophiles will chose a job working with children, so it is not unreasonable or prejudice to stereo type in such a way.
In this case however, I not so sure the OP is correct about this profession, the following is a list of the top ten occupations to which psychopaths are found, followed by the least, I wonder if psychiatrists come under the "therapist" category?
So what jobs are most attractive to psychopaths? Here’s the list, originally published online by Eric Barker:
1. CEO
2. Lawyer
3. Media (Television/Radio)
4. Salesperson
5. Surgeon
6. Journalist
7. Police officer
8. Clergy person
9. Chef
10. Civil servant
And for those looking to potentially avoid working with the least number of psychopaths, here’s the list of occupations with the lowest rates of psychopathy:
1. Care aide
2. Nurse
3. Therapist
4. Craftsperson
5. Beautician/Stylist
6. Charity worker
7. Teacher
8. Creative artist
9. Doctor
10. Accountant
ok i want to add that he practices psychotherapy but later i realized he is sexologist also and has a stress and sex clinic in another area.
so he delibrately chose this profession to fulfill his urges just like Nambo mentions because he was imposing that the only solution to my stress and depression is sex.
You are right its not ethical to stereotype and emphasis should be laid on this one person who has misused his power
rather than pointing finger at the entire fraternity.

I'm glad you are safe now. I don't know where you live but as already mentioned there's likely a procedure for reporting inappropriate behavior if you want to. Though for me sometimes I just want to stop thinking and pretend nothing bad has happened. And there is probably someone to help explain the procedures so you don't feel as alone.
