Not to my apparent knowledge at this juncture.

Ever been to the South Western USA?

Well I lived in England for 8 years, Portugal, France, Canada, and Mexico. In that order.

Same question.

I've never been to other nations.

What are your favourite activities that don't involve electronics?

Probably playing sports, or just walking/hiking.

Do you prefer evergreens like pine trees, or deciduous trees like maple?

Non-electronic: I don't play video games or do much of anything electronic except the internet. I don't even know how to record (get?) (download?) (upload?) digital music. I prefer my vinyl albums and wouldn't use electronic if I knew how.

I like to read, colour, conduct research or knit. I'm a very good knitter and I make things in honour of my dad who taught me how.

I love trees of all sorts, especially deciduous trees when the leaves fall off during the winter. I love the lines and shapes of the bare branches. Coniferous trees are also beautiful. Autumn and winter are the best for me because of bare branches and Christmas trees :) My favourite trees are willow trees.

I have a special love of the evergreens although trees are great in general :) Pines and juniper as my top favorites. The reason I like the evergreens are because they are evergreen. I feel grateful for them to present the green color in the winter months.

Are the song lyrics important to you when you listen to music?

Not as important as the melody and musical structure, but I do appreciate it. Most of my favourite songs are chosen because of lyrics that particularly speak to me.

Same question.

Very much so, the entire meaning and purpose of a song is in its lyrics, the tune is just the emotional undertones -- which though however awesome or lovely they may be are secondary to meaning IMO.

Do you think there is just free will or is there also predestination?

I keep finding articles that claim free will is just an illusion. They show up in my facebookfeed etc. What I can say is that I think it is an interesting subject. In my experience it certainly feels as if I do have a free will but maybe it`s all just a huge amount of determinants too complicated for us to ever fully understand how it ends up in decisions we feel we made out of our will? I don`t know. I would have to read more on this... :D

I would go----after I'm retired and am getting my pension.

Same question.
