I'd like to think I'm one of the cool kids on WP. Not cool enough to spell it with a K though...

I'm have doubts about whether I'm liked, but then when I introduce counterpoints and shoot down unresearched positions I guess I don't buy any favours.

I sometimes get the impression no one likes me and wants me to leave.

when i first started posting to this site, i was much more forward with my opinions and i was disliked by quite a few people.
i had quite a few pm's from people that started with the angry red eyed face icon and they said things like "how dare you" and "you are an insulting jerk" etc.

they mainly asked me to refrain from posting in threads they originated.

most of the pm's said i was an ignorant and stupid jerk and to post less to the site.

i have had a few warning pm's from moderators that tell me to "tone it down" etc.

so i learned to only say things that i think will not cause much angst here and i have stopped getting pm's.

there is so much i want to say but i do not because peoples feathers get all ruffled and i will be banned.

so as to the question "do i think people dislike me" the answer is no.
but also they do not like me because i am not special to anyone.

i think people just ignore me because i write things in a painfully verbose way and they have not the time or interest to read what i write.
that is to be expected so i am not offended. it happens every day in real life.

also, i do not use capitals and my grammar and spelling skills are poor.
someone said to me from here that they would never read my posts because they are the epitome of uneducated-ness.
oh well.
i know i am not as smart as they, and they have no interest in looking at the ground.

there are 27000+ members here and i realize i can not be seen in such a large number of people.
my words are the words of one person among 6 billion people and my voice is just an indiscernible part of the white noise of all humanity.

i do not expect that i can be noticed. i just write here because i often read weeks later what i wrote and i have fun reading what i was like then.

the people who are popular here are the people who are smart and well adjusted, and i am not that way so i just slot my thoughts between the slices of other peoples intelligent discussions.

i am interested still in this site despite the fact i can not make any impression due to my lack of whatever people find interesting.

its rather interesting, I don't think Orwell hates me per se but I think we are both annoyed by each other, Shadow girl on the other hand, most likely, because I am the opposite of her.
