you're mad! the weather balloon was just a patsy! it was really a runaway float from the 4th July parade in Roswell.

Hmm. To get this into this thread, I'm going to have to say that, on asking an over-keen teenager how he knew the worlds of information on the internet provided *good* information, he did NOT say "But nobody would put anything that isn't true on the INTERNET!"

And I didn't hear the innocent tones of utter belief and enthusiasm, either.

I think that was totally inappropriate and completely NOT funny.

And by the addition of fine print I absolutely do not want to negate any thoughts you might have which would assume that that was not a lie and was an incongruous protest instead of another lie. Nope. I'm really, really offended. Very sincerely, horribly, awfully offended. Yup.
