Yeah, I've heard that too; I think eyes dilating is a side effect of becoming aroused.

It seems a few of us have similar eye color... I wonder if it's just from the US Hines 57 genealogy, an AS trait, or we are related?

I hate the brown fleck - looks disgusting. In person, my eyes look more olive than gold. Weird.

ETA: Here's an old, blurry webcam pic that better captures the colo(u)r in bright lighting and the "butterfly wing" iridescence that's typical of hazel eyes:

"Brown Flecks" add a lot of character and uniqueness to eyes I think.

I had a long weekend, and I am sad, and my eyes are realll baggy..but I cropped the baggy part...

This is my "bad" eye..the one I can't see very well out of.
