I need to learn your ABC ( i.e. acronyms)

I am sure there is a thread about that but couldn't find it.
As an 'honorary' member :lol: with very few visits to the forum I have to re-learn stuff from the beginning. So please, bear with me.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I'll give you some Autism acronyms.

Aspie = Somebody with Aspergers
Autie = Somebody with Autism (not used too often though)
HFA = High Functioning Autistic
Stimming = repetative motions that soothe somebody with Autism (I don't think that was a very good definition.)

That's all I can think of right now, I hope that helps!

Sorry for the extremely looooong absense.

What I meant is acronyms in THIS (Wrong Planet) forum , things like NT and the like.

I don't know what they stand for.

NT = Neurotypical = someone without autism :)

I sometimes use ED to mean Executive Dysfunction, not the thing you take viagra for.

ACRONYM: Abbreviated Coded Rendition Of Name Yielding Meaning :wink:
