I dreamed I killed myself, haunted my parents, and then went to my own funeral. Heh.

Last week 2 nights in a row same dream extremely vivid: was taking the family to the state fair, in the livestock area with the cows.. we were scratching them on the head, feeding them hay.. (in my head I was trying to calculate the number of cheeseburgers for each one) all in all quite nice.. all of a sudden the cows began exploding, the flesh and skin blowing off in a bloody spray, leaving the gory skeleton standing and collapsing a moment later. Everyone was covered in blood and running and screaming...

i dreamed that i went to the bank to deposit some money. i had about $10000 in notes and about $400 in coins.

when i got there, i forgot how much money i had, and i started to count it again at the request of the teller.

i did not have a desk to put it on, and so i somehow tried to hold it all simultaneously in my hands, and as i counted, i kept dropping money on the floor, and as i picked it up, more money dropped out of my hands, and i went through a long cycle of picking up money, but dropping other money.

it seemed to me that if i took too long to regather all my money, it would somehow become public property, and so i panicked and scooped it all up and dumped it in my jumper (sweater) of which i had folded the waist line up to make a kind of hammock.

then i noticed that there were holes in my jumper and coins were spilling through, and the dream ended with me circling around on the carpet of the bank futilely trying to gather my money up.

i guess that dream signifies that i always have the subconscious idea that the world will somehow take my money off me because i am not too bright.

I was at home, chilling out and reading an issue of MAD (my newest interest). A knock on the door, and I answered. It was a voluptuous, strange woman standing at the door. We started to make out.

When we started to get naked, that warped me out of time and space to a dark room where my mom waited.

We talked about what just happened, and she told me that to get to the next room, I had to build up some speed. She disappeared.

So I ran up the wall that followed, and encountered an exotic bronze key. It was on a pedestal, next to a sign that read, "MUSTN'T TOUCH" and some freaky gibberish. I nabbed the key and walked over to an ivory door.

A robotic voice roared, "DON'T TOUCH THE DOOR." Another voice - that of Rod Serling - calmly instructed, "You hold the key of imagination in your hand. You unlock this door with a dimension of sight."

I unlocked the door, like so. A gray spiral amidst black space. I ground the spiral, then landed on a platform. In the distance, I could hear Ke$ha's "Your Love is My Drug". I shrugged and decided to peel beyond my usual running speed, clearing two loops and a long jump along the way. The music faded out as I got to a pedestal with a silver key on it. I took a spinning leap down below, where another ivory door waited. The "don't touch the door" robot blared its message twice.

Rod said, "You unlock this door with a dimension of sound."

I unlocked the door, and heard the robot's cry getting faster and faster, exploding doors everywhere. I had no choice but to haul butt out of this area! The area ended with jumping on a springpad into the inky sky, diving into a space filled with golden rings below.

Rod admonished, "You have just crossed over into...the Twilight Zone."

I grabbed all the golden rings I could, until another voice - a gruff, twanging one - called out, "Aaaaaie, buzzy!"

I noticed it was that of Sonic, who also crossed over into the Twilight Zone. We talked about this dimension, and he then told me that the exit is below, and a long way ahead of, here.

We bade each other farewell.

I entered the final area. I cleared two loops, a row of platforms, a corkscrew, and an Immelman rail. Light appeared in a hole ahead of me, and I somersaulted expertly into it.

I was back where I was before, this time with no mysterious woman.

End of dream.

I found a pot. I smashed the pot, and out came a ring.

I teleported over to where the BOGUS was waiting to be RELEASED. I RELEASED it like so, and then went on.

I Homing Attacked across a chasm, somersaulted up some slopes, then cleared a loop. I launched up the lip, landing on a high platform. I ground an invisible rail, then headed into a light.

End of dream.

Before I start writing down my latest strange dream, I'd like to point out that I haven't been reading anything about end of 2012 stuff or Mayans, recently, nor have I been thinking about it.

Just before I got up, today, I dreamt about a major event that was going to wipe out at least most of humanity. Due to this information that somehow had been understood, me and a group of people, including a girl I knew in some way, had decided to take shelter in a Mayan temple. When I was in that temple, I somehow was enlightened of a mathematical formula that in some way was important to the current situation. Unfortunately, I am terrible with maths, so I understood nothing of it, and I can only remember a few fragments of it, now, such as it starting with the root of something that started with a symbol that looked like an E with a rounded back (similarly to the euro symbol, €, except with only one line inside it). What I remember very clearly, however, was a separate addition to that mathematical formula that was a standing rectangle whose upper third part of it was separated with a line. In the second, lower part of the rectangle, that was about the shape of a square, the number 3 was written. This rectangle-shaped formula was also written out with bricks of stone, except for the number. Just after I had seen these formulas, a trap in the temple started sucking everyone who was hiding there into it, including the girl I knew. I, however, wasn't affected by the trap, so since the last person who were sucked into it was the girl I knew, I quickly ran towards beside the hole in the floor that everyone was sucked into and reached for her, got ahold of her one hand, and pulled her out of it. After getting her out of there, the only ones left in the temple were me and her; everyone else was dead. Somehow I now also felt that this had happened to the rest of humanity, as well, and that we possibly were the only ones still left alive in the world.

EDIT: If someone wishes to attempt to analyze this dream, or the one I posted before, then feel free to do so. :) Oh, by the way, for the sake of the analysis, I do not believe humanity will be wiped out towards the end of 2012. However, many indications do point towards that some very unusual things indeed will happen...

Since you told me not to mention 2012, I can't figure this one out. Sorry, but thanks for asking.

I had this really weird dream last night, a very weird linked dream that me and my girlfriend had and it happened on the exact same time and everything in her dream happened to be exactly how mine happened.

She text me this morning about it and it literally frightened me.

I dreamt last night of an almost-circular room with windows to different times in my life, past, present, and future, and a huge standing mirror on one side. The only way to see into the windows was to look at them through the mirror. I looked into one of the windows to my future, and it was only a big, empty bed. It was very comfy-looking, but I wasn't in it, or anywhere to be seen.

Oh, I didn't mean that it couldn't be related to that. I merely wanted to point out that I am not in the belief that humanity is going to be wiped out at that time.

Very strange dream, indeed... it must mean something. :B

by the numbers-

Window
To see a window in your dream, signifies bright hopes, vast possibilities and insight. To dream that you are looking into the window, then it indicates that you are doing some soul searching and looking within yourself. It is time for some introspection.
Mirror
Seeing images through the mirror may be a safe way for you to consider and/or confront material from your unconscious. Mirrors symbolize the imagination and the link between the conscious and unconscious. Alternatively, the dream means that you are unwilling to acknowledge your unconscious emotions, so the mirror in your dream was a buffer to make you feel a bit protected from what you see. The future is a scary place to visit, but since you saw the bed in the window as being "very comfy-looking," you have self-confidence and an internal locus of control, you feel you can handle what comes up. To see your bed in your dream, represents your intimate self. The dream may also be a pun on the completion of a project and "putting it to bed." The fact that the bed is empty and you are not in the picture, means you have not done enough living and that it is not your time yet to leave this life, IOW you have insufficient data to "put to bed," so to speak.
Rooms
To see a room in your dream, represents an area or areas of your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. for example, an attic represents your intellect, the basement represents the unconscious, etc. If the room is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity or incompleteness in your life. To see a circle or round room in your dream, symbolizes perfection, completeness, immortality and/or wholeness. On a less positive note, it may also mean that you are going around in circles in some situation. Or the circle can indicate monotony and endless repetition.
Unknown
To dream that you are in a strange, unknown or foreign place, represents change in your life. Consider how you feel about the surrounding. If you are afraid or lost, then it indicates that you are not ready for the change. You are not ready to leave the past behind. If you are excited or happy in this unknown place, then it suggests that you are ready for change.

Wow, thanks for the detailed response, auntblabby. Very interesting.

The "windows" were more like a cross between windows and portals, but it sounds to me like your window interpretation is probably spot on. Your post got me considering the room my dream was in. I didn't see anywhere outside of it, but it felt like it was somewhere in the middle of the house or building, cocooned on all sides. It was circular except for a flat wall where the mirror was, so that everything could be reflected if you looked at it from the right angle. It was empty, aside from the mirror, but it was comfortable, a nice room--all dark wood, very (figuratively) warm. It did feel that it was the first time I'd found the room, though it had been there all along.
