New Horizon's a spacecraft that flewby Pluto in 2015 has reached a Kuiper Belt Object and for the first time we have a closeup picture of a KBO.

China has sent a robotic spacecraft to the far side/dark side of the moon that was the first spacecraft ever to land on the far side of the moon.

And despite the name, the dark side of the moon is not in darkness or blackness at all times. That is a common misconception.
