Nadal is in the U.S. Open final! He will be playing against Kevin Anderson. Anderson is a pretty good player, but I want Nadal to win this!

I think I've said about two words all day. I love not being forced to speak.

I bought a Dell Latitude D520 in a pawnshop for £10 the other day. It was being sold 'for spare parts'. It didn't seem to work very well because the previous owner had set a BIOS password which rendered various functions unusable, but I've managed to hack into it, remove the password, and now have a fully functioning, high quality laptop for the price of a packet of cigarettes!

filled out and submitted the community college application to return to school next semester. seems like one of a handful of steps, but... have at least started getting things moving.

I corrected most of a misophonia threat today that has been going on for months.
I still have a bit to do as I ran out of adhesive, but if this works, that sound can never happen again.
That was after yesterday I had a bit of an insane reaction - the sound happened and I actually screamed. It must be stopped. And if this works out ok, I may have just mostly solved it, to finish off tomorrow! Yay!

Rafael Nadal won the U.S. Open men's championship! That is his second Major this year, his third U.S. Open and his sixteenth Major championship overall!

the gay pride parade was today. and i did not go. as usual. the festival costs $$. and it was crowded and loud. so did not go. but it felt good seeing all those rainbow flags. made me feel like the city was not that homophobic.

Had to see my psychiatrist today, who is somewhat scary in a genteel, understated way (but not a Hannibal Lecter way, thankfully.) She makes me anxious though, especially since she had written me off and I went on to drop my meds without consultation and ended up relapsing and going to hospital. All things considered though, she seemed surprisingly nice and supportive this time.

I'm pleased with myself that I went out today.

I stopped going out after my crash so apart from work I've not been anywhere for the best part of nine months. I'd become quite phobic really but I just took a long weekend off and managed to get out of the house for two of those days.

Hopefully this is the start of things to come.

Went to the bathroom at Target for 50 minutes
