Wrapping presents
I suck at it. Mom bought wrapping paper that has lines and numbered steps on it so I won't mess up.
Personally, I put all my presents in pretty gift bags to save myself the trouble. That and the recipient can reuse the bag next year. It's recycling! So are any of you good at wrapping presents? ![]()
I love wrapping presents, I'm alone and I love the smell of the wrapping paper.
Though I do suck at it, it's all messy and the tape gets everywhere. It's fun for me so I enjoy doing it.

Lol, yeah. It does get me excited for the holidays. I like to coordinate the wrapping to the recipient or the gift inside and stuff like that. Now that I wrapped presents for my family, roommate and boyfriend, I can't wait to see their faces when they see what I got them. I'm a giver. I looove giving more than receiving. So when someone asks me what I want for my birthday or Christmas, I never know what to say. I rarely think about the things I would like to receive apart from time with those I care about. So I usually say, "something shiny will do."

I don't mind wrapping them; it's figuring out what the heck to choose to buy for presents, that gets me all goofed up. And on the subject of wrapping, I feel bad to open presents wrapped by other people. It feels like I'm ruining something they did for me by tearing the paper off. I spend more time carefully un-taping and folding the wrapping paper neatly, than I do in wrapping presents I give to others

I'm usually a good gift-chooser. I reflect on what shows they watch, or what activities they enjoy and I go off of that. My bf likes videogames so I got him a few trinkets related to that.
I'm like that too when opening presents. I can't open it because it's soo pretty! But it ends up tearing anyways. That's why I use gift bags. They're easier to open without destroying it. D:
I find wrapping presents pointless. I know it looks pretty and it's important to NTs, but to me it's only waste of paper. I think that bags are better, they're pretty too and they're not disposable.

Yeah, bags all the waaaaaay! *hive fives*
Wrapping presents is serious business in my family. My brother is one of the NTs that doesn't see the point in putting that much effort in something that will get torn apart in less than 5 seconds. To keep Mom happy, he'll let her wrap it because we both suck at it. I'll either use bags in the future or have someone else wrap it.
One of my best childhood memories is watching my mother wrap presents. She always cut just the right amount of paper--straight--and folded in the ends perfectly. I am not so skilled: the paper cuts are all crooked and the ends, well, I prefer to use a foil paper so that I can finally just mash the ends down. I use a lot of tape.
The one thing that I have learned to do that covers up my clumsiness with the paper is to use a very wide, first class ribbon. That way I can just bind the package and end in a simple bow and have the satisfaction of seeing the ribbon from the unwrapped gift carefully set aside to be ironed and used another year.
That said, I hate to wrap presents and avoid it, not by using an inferior wrap technique, but by buying fewer presents. Giving fewer presents means getting fewer presents, of course, but that's okay (no one knows my taste anyway). Eventually you can get your Christmas giving down to a smile and a wave.

My mom and uncle are amazing at wrapping presents. I screw up the corners and end up using too much paper or not enough. XD
I love the ribbon idea. I have used the bows that you can stick onto the paper to cover up mishaps in the past.
Yeah, I tend to buy one gift per person. I'm a poor college student so this is permissible. In the future, I would like to just give people food for Christmas. I make goooood cookies. I also make some jewelry but I don't know if any of my family would like to receive them. Some of my pieces look nicer than others. Lol. I'm learning! XD
Pretty much the same for me, I've bought them a gift why does it need to be covered in paper? Close family have got used to gifts from me coming wrapped in a plastic carrier bag lol.
I love wrapping paper. I love the smell of it and the sound it makes when you tear it. I like having my presents wrapped even though I always know exactly what I'm getting, because it reminds me of my childhood.
I'm bad at wrapping presents for other people though, so I just stick things in bags with a lot of colorful tissue paper.
Aluminium and my idea for industrial present:

I'd rather put gifts in gift bags than wrap them. It's easier and the bags can be reused.
