How about something more generic like the "The Perpetual Chat Thread"?

Well, I'm open to ideas!

I just wanted to convey the idea that sleazy talk and cursing would not be welcomed, and "perpetual" does not convey that idea at all.

How about "the PG-friendly chat thread?" <------To whichever mod ends up changing it: PLEASE do not make me weep by neglecting to hyphenate the compound adjective.

Edit: applause to Grisha for hyphenating his!

That's awesome!

Are you like me and find it hard to read music?

I'm learning this!

I understand, but typically "clean" is assumed, especially in this forum. What usually happens is someone will post the "adult" version in AAI and name it as such...

But I do agree that "PG" sounds better, but I'm not sure many of our international members will know what it means...

Well, we can't exactly call it the "No Swearing, No Roleplaying, No Sleazy Talk" thread. That's too long.

Can anyone think of any other suitable words?

Naw, "clean" is the best if that's what you're trying to convey IMO.

Whatever, roll with it...

TEGH - what can I say!

I am flattered and honoured to see my name now features in your sig - even though I'm aware it was possibly meant as sarcasm, though it's hard to tell!

For your siggie to be ENTIRELY all_white-friendly, the space between "white" and "friendly" should be hyphenated, as I have just hyphenated it, because it is a compound adjective. However, I'm aware no one else cares, or even knows what a compound adjective is, so feel free to leave it as it is.

Things like that hurt when you're into punctuation. It makes me wince to read them, but such is life. We can't all be good at the same things. Case in point: I don't know how to crochet.

Not intended to be sarcastic in any way. It was meant to be funny and to show I wasn't offended by your request. :-)

I'm into punctuation, too, but due to my difficulties I do find it hard sometimes. Maybe I'll fix it later. lol

You are in the right thread, then. This is the "PG" thead, remember. Get your teabags here.

TEGH: I am glad you were not offended. It did make me laugh a lot, so you succeeded at being funny! :thumright:

Baha. I didn't even think of that. That's funny. PG Tips are the best teabags. 8)

Are you a frequent tea-drinker?

*ponders whether or not that should be hyphenated*

I am. I love tea. I have, right now, 4 different kinds of green tea and some other herbal teas. I've also got quite a selection of black teas, too.

Recently ran out of rose tea. That stuff is great. I should replace it.

I could easily qualify as a tea fanatic - that's why I'd never touch a teabag

I don't like black tea at all. :eew: I fail at being a stereotypical Brit.

I used to make myself drink peppermint tea, for my IBS, but in order for me to stomach it I had to put in loads of sugar.

Edit: I'm now remembering that there was this one time my mum and I went into a shop dedicated solely to tea, and the smell in there was sublime. It made me want to become a tea connoisseur.

Sallamandrina would have approved. Not a teabag in sight. Just shelves and shelves of lots of different kinds of tea (sold loose by weight). It was like being in a sweetie shop, only with tea!
