That's not fair! I have no idea what you're saying! I just pasted in some random thing I found in Google and hoped it meant what it said it did.

Translation, please?

First thing's first. What did you hope it would mean?

Well I just typed "English to Lebanese Arabic" into Google and this was one of the first things that came up:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 624AAkyeKK

I thought it would make you laugh!

Did they translate it properly, or did they mess with it and do it wrong on purpose?

(Personally I would NEVER trust some random person on Yahoo to do an accurate translation).

Good idea for a thread all_white. So I'm making this a temporary sticky thread. If it goes well it *may* be made a permanent sticky.

It's alright, all_white. No need to panic. It actually made me smile and laugh.

That girl was correct except she should've used a better word for "adore" like "be3sha2ak" cause the word she used could mean "worship" and I know you don't worship the devil.

Anyway, I was surprised when I first read that from you as it was too perfect to be just an online translation. So I assumed you had some Lebanese friend helping you out there ...

But what I said is that you are the moon and everything that's beautiful in this world is beautiful because all of it springs from you. :P

It's alright, dear. Just forgive me for this faux pas.

And have a good sweet night. I'm off to sleep.

Oh dear! No, I certainly did not wish to say I worshipped anyone but God! I am definitely a Christian!

I am glad I made you laugh.

That was a very poetic compliment you paid me (although I must decline to accept it because all things do not spring from me at all; they spring from God, but that's a whole other story that belongs in PPR!)

Is Arabic always that flowery? I wish I could speak more languages.

I once dated a Moroccan and I remember how to say "let's go" and "awww, pleeease?" and "you're beautiful" but that's all he ever taught me. And I don't know how to write them down. I only know how to say them.

Why do you say it's hard for you to relax? I used to get way too intense at times, finding ways to just relax and give myself a break did wonders in that respect :)

I have just have a lot of stuff to deal with recently (cheating ex, eviction, finding out I probably have AS) and I tend to be in a constant state of worry.

Maybe I should have a hot bath and paint my toenails and light some candles. I haven't had a bath for ages! <----Edit: I realise this could be misconstrued to mean I do not bathe. I do in fact wash myself regularly!

How do you relax, Sallamandrina?

I like to relax by crocheting, doing logic puzzles, browsing forums.

Saturdays are my day to relax, usually I am taking care of my three year old son. :)
