I made it to Humboldt! I left Phoenix, Arizona Saturday night at 9:00pm, got to Barstow, California at 5:00am. Left there at 8:00pm and got to Eureka at 9:00am Labor Day. I like driving at night, less cars but headlights are extremely bright now, I don't like the bluish color.

Thanks, once we got onto I-5 north it was nice and cool. Now I am camping out with my border collie and my cat, at a nice RV park in the woods next to a river.

Glad you made it safely. Sounds like a nice road trip. I always do some thinking and introspection when I drive long distances.
