Snow chains
I live in Texas, but might be moving to Idaho to go to college, and I am wondering where to get snow chains, or where to find a service that will provide them.
If anyone has any information on this, that would be extremely helpful.

Where in Idaho are you moving. Not all areas require snow chains (Usually just the mountains). In any case, 4 wheel drive or AWD will work in those situations too. I do not think you would get something like that in Texas in any case. They school may know in Idaho and if not, ask a couple of the truckers. They can lead you in the right direction.
One other thing, if you do need snow chains, I suggest that before the snow flies, you practice putting them on your wheels. They are not intuitive and the last thing you want to do in the middle of a snow storm is to learn how to put those things on.

You can buy them in any auto parts store around the northern rockies. It's a good idea to carry them, but you hardly ever need them.

Did you say that wasn't proper? Did you march out on the track?

Well thank you buddy for your advice...
