I try not to swear, but it does happen. Mostly when someone does something stupid, and I try to replace swear words as well. I don't know if it helps though.

No. When I was young, I did, but only because I'd heard them from...my Mum. Then I got told off, even though it was her fault. I was just saying what she'd say whenver something happened. That was many maaaaaaaaany years ago, and I have never sworn since.

Hey! Watch your f***ing language!

I've never used any major swears online or in real life, and the only minor swear I use often is "crap".

I very seldom use profanity. I could cut of a finger and it wouldn't cause me to swear, but emotional moments might.

In real life, people are amazed by my ability to use foul language. Usually, I can't go more than a few hours without swearing at least once. On this forum, I spend quite a bit of time checking my posts for accidental swear words, because anything I write almost anywhere else would contain more swear words than other words.

If you want to enjoy reading about the single most insulting language on the planet, in which wishing cancer and tuberculosis upon people is a common response, saying 'drinking yourself into leprosy' is a widely-known description and you can combine plenty of words to form hundreds of nasty insults, read that Wikipedia entry. It's very incomplete.

I try not to and it's not that hard for me not to since I work with children. I don't care if people use swear words but I don't like it when people say them after every other word. Also I despise a select few including the c word.

I used to a lot. I now make a conscious decision not to, unless I really feel emphatically about something.

I've heard a few mentions of the so-called 'c word'. What is that? There are plenty of words I could imagine.

I think they mean c*nt, with a "u" being where I placed the "*"

This is the main reason why I took up web development. So I could swear like no end.

Certainly makes you want to though, doesn't it?

I usually do under my breath, mostly when programming and it won't work.
I occasionally do it aloud but I generally prefer not to.

That was the plan.

I very rarely swear. I say 'for goodness sake' 'gosh' and 'darn' instead. It's something people usually notice about me quite quickly and it usually leads to people mocking me. I don't really like it when other people swear either. My boyfriend's sister once swore at her own mother in front of me (she used the F word) and I was quite shocked, as that would be considered unacceptable in my family. In the past I have worked with kids and with the public, so its important that I don't swear even if I am hurt or angry.
