For those who replied in the negative: Wouldn't watching a movie or going to a concert be considered watching someone work?
I feel uncomfortable just watching work, especially if it looks physically taxing, like mopping a floor. I feel like I should help out. Whenever the cleaners come by to empty my trash at work, I want to apologize for having paper in my trashcan.
But as far as movies or concerts, if they're done well, the audience should feel as if they are part of the exercise, I believe. To fully experience a performance, one should actively participate. This doesn't mean jumping on stage and grabbing a violin, but really listening and allowing the performance to affect you, then reacting in the appropriate manner (i.e. tears, applause, rotten fruit).
