It depends on what they're working on.

Nope, it's too tiring.

I loved to watch my dad work, especially when he was doing something like putting new tiles in. I loved that it was so repetitive. That was back when he was more tolerant of me. He once called me lazy(he calls me that pretty often now)because I was watching and told me that I should learn to do something useful. Since then I've steered clear of him whenever he's doing any kind of work. I sometimes help paint when my mom is painting.

It depends entirely on what the person (or group of persons) is working on. If it's related to something I have an interest in, then I will intently watch.

For those who replied in the negative: Wouldn't watching a movie or going to a concert be considered watching someone work?

I feel uncomfortable just watching work, especially if it looks physically taxing, like mopping a floor. I feel like I should help out. Whenever the cleaners come by to empty my trash at work, I want to apologize for having paper in my trashcan.

But as far as movies or concerts, if they're done well, the audience should feel as if they are part of the exercise, I believe. To fully experience a performance, one should actively participate. This doesn't mean jumping on stage and grabbing a violin, but really listening and allowing the performance to affect you, then reacting in the appropriate manner (i.e. tears, applause, rotten fruit).

That depends on the actor and the character. I've read that when Ramon Valdez did the character Don Ramon(or Ron Damon)on El Chavo del 8, he was really just being himself. When they asked him to do the character, he was told to just be himself. On some interviews with people who knew him, they've said that just like he is on the show, that's exactly how he was in real life. He must have been like one of the most funniest people ever. He'd have been pretty fun to meet.

I'd rather do the work myself and get paid.
