Hi my question is the number 600 does this mean literally it is 6 sets of 100 dollars or 6 100 dollar bills is it 100 dollars and 6 dolars equal 600 dollars like 100 dollars is 1000 dollars 200 so on can anyone help me im not the best at math thank you i am confused ?

Its the first option you mention I believe. We use whats called the base 10 (Decimal) system, which organizes numbers in groups of ten. There are other systems used in computers and electronics like base 8 (Octal) and base 16 (Hexadecimal) and the more well known base 2 (Binary)

In 600 it means 6 sets of 100 of whatever you are counting.

638 means

6 sets of One Hundred
+
3 sets of Ten
+
8 ones

I am not actually that good in math either, but had to learn parts for my job.

It means six sets of 100.

Not "one hundred plus six" (which would be "106".

Don't know if that is what youre asking or not.
