When to Take Photos on Trips
A few days ago, I went across the country to visit some of my relatives on my own, and I realized on the last day that I hadn't taken any photos for my family to see. Now, I'm not the kind of guy who likes to take photos. Typically, I'd only take a photo of something funny that I'd like to share on the Internet (assuming I have enough time to take the photo). However, I think differently from the rest of my family, and I don't want to disappoint them again by making the same mistake twice, so what should I photograph the next time I go on a trip by myself? My relatives? Their pets? Stuff I see when I go touring around town? When would making videos be more appropriate?
That's a hard question to answer in my opinion, but I will tell you what I did when I went to San Antonio a few weeks back. The first picture I took was where I was staying. After that I took some of places I thought were interesting. * granted most of those were on a tour, but my point still stands * That being said it probably a lot easier to find interesting stuff in San Antonio, because it has a lot of history going for it. As well as I like historical stuff in the first place. I honestly don't know if video would be better for you.
