My coffee pot quit working :( its truly tragic!

Trying to make some now by stove top.

You need one of these. While you're at it, get a decent grinder as well and grind the coffee very course for the maker.

I think that's how I'd react if my computer stopped working (knock on wood), although I'm sure my instinct for survival would eventually kick in. :)

As someone above suggested, get a Coffee Press.
You can do coffee in a pan,wait till the water boils,then add coffee and turn off,sprinkle cold water on top to help settle the grounds."Cowboy Coffee." :D It's usually pretty strong.

Actually I LOVE cowboy coffee, just in the mornings I am to lazy to want to make it, the auto drip is better then.

As an unabashed coffee addict, I get all bent out of shape when my coffee maker dies. I buy a new one from Walmart usually for under fifteen dollars.
