Losing cars gets the best of me too. I hope you get what you need...

Thanks, guys.
I feel like a family member has died.
Such a sense of loss.

Last month I had some grandpa steal my turn lane, now I drive a rare station wagon I scored used with every option I needed, so this sat WRONG with me. Milliseconds to honk & then my 5cyl blew that Toyota's damn doors off; 2nd gear drop straight on up to 5/6th. He had the gall to follow me into town and I thankfully have not been that mad at any other time in the last couple years. He looked at me like I was in the wrong, not a minute after he had me spend my clutch to save my whole car.

At least you've got a market ripe with some very cool sets of wheels down under! What I wouldn't give for a nice Nissan Patrol ute...

My beautiful little Toyota was t-boned.
The other driver came through a stop sign and totally cleaned me up.
The scary part was I saw the other car coming and I tried to turn off the road but the blasted thing was like a magnet!
It was an elderly lady who hit me.
Stay away from elderly drivers!

If it's a Yaris/Echo/Tercel (or whatever Toyota calls them where you are) those are actually crazy tough... My friend's Yaris got hit & dragged by an 18 wheeler, fixed on his insurance and it's not salvage registered yet! Looks nearly new & gets driven daily. Another friend had a '94ish model year Tercel over 300,000 miles and it shifted perfectly! I'm pretty sure she got a newer VW, sold that & kept using the Tercel.

My dad's Camry had a terrible reputation for eating seals & power steering pumps, it went to 360k miles though, so just perhaps you're in the clear...

They are tough.
All my cars so far have been Toyotas.
This one is a Camry (the older type, before they went wide-body).
I'm hoping it can be resurrected with some intensive care.
The damage looks pretty bad though.
I couldn't drive it away.
The guard was pushed onto the tyre.
The front door looks like someone opened it up with a can-opener.

The robo-seatbelt Camry right? If your front X-member (beam behind the grille) & crumple zone behind the quarter panel are OK, that pretty much just leaves the control arm/steering rack mountings & maybe your wheel/steering knuckle. If you really must keep it I'm guessing that can be done, I had a FWD Datsun that limped away from a driver door crash I thought might kill me. Also, I think OZ got the 'All-Trac' 4wd Camrys as well, which would be really cool if you managed to find one.

Yeah.
Spend all night on WP, go to bed exhausted.
Wake up exhausted, spend all morning on WP.
Go to work, get exhausted, spend all afternoon on WP.
Quite a pattern developing there.
At least I'm consistent.

Robo-seatbelts?
I have the Ultima model with the plush velvet seats, power windows, spoked wheels, the whole shebang.
I'm thinking it'll be written off because the cost of repairs will be more than the car's worth, even though it was worth the world to me!
I have a 2005 diesel Landcruiser too for the heavy work but the Camry was so zippy and convenient.
I'm really going to miss Alex

How does one break Internet/arousal addiction long-term when one needs to use the Internet all the time and society revolves largely around arousal? :x
