Bug Clouds?!

So yea, I got into that show called "Planet Earth" on the Discovery Channel, right? Did anyone else see that giant bug cloud thing?

No! What was this?

I think I saw that show before. Wasn't it bugs that landed in Africa or someplace like that and devoured landscapes within a matter of hours? I think it was grasshoppers wasn't it?

Bug clouds aren't unheard of. There was a instance of it in the early 1900's in the US.

Last summer there was something weird where I live. I don't know that it was a bug cloud. But early one morning I left for work and found thousands upon thousands of little green bugs all over the pavement, porch, my car & everything else. They were even on the inside of my car and I had the windows up!! I mentioned it at work but everyone looked at me like I was crazy because they hadn't seen any massive amounts of green bugs and also they thought I was weird I guess for wanting to know where they came from, etc.

In July of '98 I was in New Mexico were they had a locust plague. We stopped at a gas station and I refused to get out of the car because the entire ground was covered in locust bugs. You could not see the pavement. It was disgusting and scary!

I've heard stories about them.
