I finally gave in to myspace

sort of, i joined myspace so i could better promote my book, I STILL THINK MYSPACE IS DANGEROUS but i think i'll get more people there with more friends, can some of you give me friend invites?

Ah,you're also using myspace to promote something,but other than that don't use it,its boring as hell,just my opinion though.

I don't particularly like Myspace as for the most part it's pointless, but as I'm into the local punk scene it means I can keep up with the local bands and I know when gigs are happening. Last year I went to many, but this year I've reverted back to staying in all the time. Not necessarily a bad thing but I do miss being at gigs even though I enjoy being alone in my room a lot too.

Presuming there is an age restriction of 16 (the age next to your picture says you are 16), you might want to remove the reference to your actual age (again, I make the presumption your 13, and its not a typo) in the passage...

Be very careful w/myspace. I primarily use to contect w/old friends (like 1), a couple of family members & the youth from church. I allow very few people I don't know, since I don't want alot of trash.

MySpace causes me the EXACT same anxieties as regular social networks (schools, workplaces, churches).

I feel like I need to do it in order to keep up....but I get anxious/depressed that I don't seem to "get" how to get others to take an interest in things that I like, or even leave me a message.

Anyone else find this to be the case?
