To the one I used to love...

I'm sorry for saying those weird things to you. I wish you hadn't decided that popularity was more important than our friendship. I miss having sleepovers with you and telling stories to you. It's too bad our differences drove us apart.

Dear ___________,

I didn't appreciate you baking those cookies and than making a nasty comment about my weight. I've decided that I'll get serious about weight loss when I'm good and ready. I am following a modified version of a plan that a friend has suggested to me, and I'm losing the weight at my own leisurly pace, which might not be at the quick pace that you've hoped for. Not all young people are meant to be twigs and sticks, like you and dad were, and like my kid sister is.

I would also like you to stop asking about what's in my small tote bag. I do not wish to tell you, because you were the one who yelled at me for having accidents, up to until the day after my sixth birthday. You'd have a heart attack, if you were to discover the incontenince products, in my bag. I've strained fro many years, since that one night, in order to keep clean, out of fear, and I'm paying for it, now.

Cockney.

PS...

Stop making comments about my hair and my saftey pins. It's not 1997, anymore. It's 2007 and I'm not a 60s' type Mod, anymore.

I wish we could hear your voice, and I mean you, Shelby.

You will, very soon. I get my tax return soon, and I'm thinking of buying a mic and a webcam.

I'm still wondering, do you have an accent or do you not?

Most people mistake me for being a Londoner.
