I think i've fallen in love with classical music :)
I've always ALWAYS wanted to buy those classical music cds on tv ads but I never got down to it. But now I will waste no time in buying some.

"Killer Inside Me" by MC 900 Ft. Jesus

You probably see me hanging around
I'm a very familiar face in this town
A day doesn't go by I don't meet
A lot of my friends walking down the street
I'm never too busy to stop by the way
And I always have something pleasant to say
Maybe some perceptive thoughts about the weather
Or other ladies' news from Wall Street.
Whenever I can stand around all day
Making small talk
Blocking the sidewalk
Tying people up for hours at ease
One big town I can shoot in the breeze
When they start to squirm
I really get going
But only my half-face smile is showing
Why can’t they see what I’m trying to hide?
I’m busting a gut
Laughing on the inside
Sing this song when they say hello
I can see they think I’m a little bit slow
But after awhile with me in a daze
Their eyes are covered in a doughnut glaze
I really start to cook when I see that look
I hit 'em with every cliché in the book
Their knees wobble and they start to weave
It’s like they're begging for permission to leave
They think they're having a brush with stupidity
I don’t laugh - even though it’s killing me
Watching 'em wilt like day-old flowers
Ticking off the minutes as they turn to hours
They’re wondering how much more they can take
I give 'em a friendly smile and a handshake
We say goodbye very politely
Now say hello to the killer inside me

(drop it)

Everyone has their doubts about my sanity
But nothing happens 'cause they feel sorry for me
I got the whole town under my thumb
All I gotta to do is keep acting dumb
Oh that boy there, they say, wanna die
A little on the slow side but wouldn’t hurt a fly
And such a gentleman - oh yes I know
Sure can’t talk at you all though
I take my hat and pretend I don’t hear
Grinning like a half-wit from ear to ear
I can think of a thousand ways to say hello
So I start through 'em all goin' real slow
They listen hard and act like they care
How can they be so completely unaware
Of the truth
The answer is always in hiding
So I introduce 'em to the killer inside me

(feel the blast)

I'm listening to "You Know What You Are" by Nine Inch Nails. Voted "Yes was too much of an understatement" in the poll. :)

I figured you might have voted that way; a person after my own heart.

Not sure how I feel about the new NIN stuff. It's not bad it's just way different from the old stuff. It has a different quality that I can't describe.

Current music: "Face Down" / Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

I've also been listening to some great Aussie music - Silverchair and Powderfinger.

Of course. How can't you love music? :D

Nine Inch Nails has changed styles quite a bit between some of their albums. Even their newest album "Year Zero" is very different from their last album.

I know that band too! Not a favorite, but they're pretty good.

Listening to "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance. I love this song. :)

Who Will Answer? by Mars ILL; which is also available as an .mp3 on their website.

Apart from the lyrics I like the Seven Samurai cuts thrown throughout.

"Hearing Voices In One's Head" by MC 900 FT Jesus

I know you...I know all about you
You see things that other people don’t see that makes you nervous
If your hands would stop shaking, you'd wipe the cold sweat off your brow
It’s hard for you to think, but you don’t need to very much
Because the voices in your head usually tell you what to do
You consider yourself to be invisible, and it’s true in a way
Because everybody can see right through you
Other people can even read your thoughts
Although they'll never let you know it for sure
When you leave the room, everyone discusses you and has a good laugh
You used to have some friends, but they don’t come around much anymore
Probably because it’s hard for them to keep a straight face in your presence
When you go out, you need to be very careful
Things always seem to happen too fast
If someone accidentally brushes against you, you jerk away in a panic,
That you foolishly hope no one will notice
You go into a place of business and see a security camera,
You try to beam pleasant, innocuous, thoughts at it
You make a feeble attempt to be non-chalant until you are out of its range
If you see a book or magazine, it usually has a picture of yourself on the cover
One taken by such a camera
These pictures are skillfully retouched to look like someone else in order to mock you
You never read books or magazines because they contain secret messages hidden in multiple layers of meaning that make you do things you cant remember later

(I know all about you)

Your nights are rough
You stay in your apartment with the shades drawn and all the lights off, watching television
You keep the sound turned off and try to be very quiet, because you want everyone to think you’re asleep
And all night long, a disembodied voice from the back of your head sings over and over, somewhere there is a place for us

(think, think, think)

"Ciao!" by Lush

I've been so happy since I walked away
I never thought that I could feel as great as I do today
'Cause you were nothing but a big mistake
And life is wonderful, now that I'm rid of you

Oh I must've been crazy to have stayed with you
I can't believe I thought I was in love with you
But now the scales have fallen I can really see
And I say go to hell, 'cause that’s where you took me

Well, I've felt better since I slammed that door
You always cramped my style, I never noticed before
It's been a non-stop party since I flew the coop
I can't believe I fell for such a loser like you

And is it any wonder that I felt so blue
When I was always having to put up with you

Oh, here we go again, just lay the blame on me
Don't say another word, 'cause sweetheart, you're history

I know that you miss me really, bet you wish that you still had me
You'll never find someone like me but I've got no regrets at all

'Cause I've met this girl and she's so good to me
She's really beautiful, fantastic company
Oh, when I'm with her I realize what love can be
'Cause she's fifty times the person you will ever be

Good luck, mister, do you think I care?
Since you've been gone the offers have been everywhere
I've got a million guys just lining up for me
I've turned a corner, boy, my life is ecstasy

Well, I've been in heaven since I walk away
I never thought that I could feel as great as I do today
'Cause you were nothing but a waste of space
And life is wonderful now that I'm over you
