That's from a Far Side comic. If Gary Larson hadn't explained in one of his books that anatidae is the scientific name for duck, I would have been completely confused like most of his reader must have been.

There was another one in The Far Side called "Luposlipophobia". It's the fear of being chased around a dining room table by wolves while wearing new socks on a freshly waxed floor. :)

I have a mating trio(!) of ducks near my back yard. They like to stare at me. Should I be worried? :P

there are timberwolves out where I live, so i'm glad I have carpeted floor under the kitchen table so I can't slip...

What do you call it when you know your guinea pig is always watching you when it's possible for him to see you from his cage & it makes you kinda uncomfortable :?:
