U Tube becoming the dominant force in society, including political discourse. Along with that the normalization of conspiracy theories. We all now believe the earth is flat and in the Mandella effect (or at least we have to pretend to take such notions seriously).

A decade where barriers were kind of broken down for what we thought was possible. Regimes fell in the Middle East, Gay marriage was normalized and Trump was elected.

Big conservative backlash in most of the Western world Trump was elected, Brexit happened, and most governments in the Western World switched to the right, and their is with it less of a consensus on supporting ideals such as being pro-immigration, free trade and diversity. But that is going to change very swiftly as I predict in the 2020s allot of very populist left wing movements will start to rise.
