Nah, someone who looks at the bigger picture more than Quatermass. I suppose we need someone who actively looks for trouble, rather than just reacting harshly to it when they stumble across it. Someone with nothing better to do than dredge through every single new post, just in case there's something they can pick on - in a just and fair fashion, of course.
Problem is, most of the people with a big enough WP addiction to fit the role have too much bias - couldn't count on them to remain impartial.

Why are you making such a big deal out of this, anyway?

After all, someone said it wasn't against the rules to post links to other AS forums as long as they were appropriate enough to be linked to. I'm only not identifying this person because I don't know who it is.

I don't see any problem with that, though!

Of all the people on WP, you are quite possibly the one with the LEAST right to accuse people of making a big deal of something. Need I remind you of the threads you started when this whole debate first flared up?

You saying I don't look at the bigger picture? I just don't have all THAT time to dredge through all the posts, and neither does MrMark. I've got Uni, he's got a job.

I'm not faulting the existing mods for not having enough spare time to dredge through all the new posts - I can't claim I'd have the *patience*, let alone the time. Simply saying that I think it'd be a valuable supplement to the mod team to have someone who *did* have the time/patience to do so. It'd ensure that all the facts were present when dealing with any issue...
