Does anyone love potatoes as much as I do? I have to eat a potato product of some sort every day; it's one of my wierd eating habits.

Oh yeah. Potatoes are one of my all time favorite foods. They are one of the few foods I like to eat all the time.

OMG,OMG,OMG! Thank you so much for bringing this up! My AS bf cannot eat dinner without one of those huge ones. I am thinking it is part of something that feeds his intolerance, kind of like a food allergy but he must have one so he doesn't have to deal with the world with a clear mind. Sometimes I am allowd to replace with rice or pasta, but there MUST be a starch, and he will gourge on potatoes. I once made mashed potatoes from a five pound bag and he ate all of them in two days (they were meant for leftovers). Is this an addiction? I try to substitute smaller potatoes and he thinks I am gypping him. He always leaves full, as with smaller potatoes I fill his plate with more veggies and lean meat. The other night he wolfed 3 lamb chops, a bag of cooked spinach and a 1 1/2 pound potato. He made me swear I'd feed him smaller ones in the future, but come on, if you are full of meat and veggies why would you stuff yourself to finish a cheap potato to the point of pain? I know if I start putting small ones or none on his plate I break his routine and am the new devil...

HELP!! !

I'm also a potato lover.

I have no special foods that I consume with each meal, but I do have a problem with turning down potato dishes that are offered to me. Except potato chips for some reason, which I overdosed on when I was younger and now they longer hold any appeal.

If you like potatoes then definitely check out the blue fingerling potatoes. Oh my goodness, they are so fantastic!! ! Also, the white sweet potatoes are excellent.

Potatoes have always just been weird to me. I think it's the texture or somthing, but I cannot stand them, not even fries.

The original Space Ghost version is on Youtube, but the sound is very bad on it. It's a shame. This is a classic if you love potatoes!

I love potatoes! Boiled, baked, mashed, hashed, fried, stewed...

I particularly like cold boiled potatoes with butter. Mmm...

OK - one question.

And this is *weird* - why exactly?

To answer your question, my potato habit is weird to many people in the NT world. I have had several non-spectrum people tell me that they think that my love of potatoes is totally obsessive and, to use an exact quote, "You won't die if you don't have a potato today." Well, I may not die, but there's an empty spot in my stomach that cannot be satisfied any other way!

P.S. I did not even notice I spelled "weird" wrong...
