gonna attempt to attach that tach, finally. on my own. i found the appropriate tach signaling wire coming off of the distributor...it's the blue one. capped and ending abruptly, i suppose that's obvious enough, given that this car doesn't come with a meter preinstalled. the ignition coil is housed inside the distributor, and i feared i'd have to take that whole thing apart. glad that isn't the case.

no luck at that other scrapyard, their only v20 camry is a DX model with the small console compartment and a blue interior. (mine is brown). they were missing the exact same piece on the steering column cover that i was. wonder how many other v20 camrys are driving around the world's roads still with that same piece missing?

I feel pretty horrible right now. I got into it with someone on another site, I just don't think I can avoid getting into online arguments anymore. I really am awful.

Well when someone says something I don't agree with, I normally get all freaked out, trying to prove my point. Then I pretty much get lynched.
