If I was dying and I knew I was going to die anyway then I would request a ton of LSD. I want the last thing I experience in life to be a wicked acid trip.

Aldous Huxley did just that when he was dying of cancer - he sailed out on a trip and it sounded quite beautiful. A Google search will find what his wife wrote about it (she was with him as he left).
