the only chicken available to me [I cannot cook, period, I can only burn things] is at my local supermarket deli, I usually order the skinless barbequed breasts. food of the gods. my fave is KFC's barbequed breasts but that is so rich, so oily, so SO, that I can only eat it once in a blue moon or so.

Day 2 1/2 cold turkey from the Zoloft (ran out, couldn't be fudged going and getting more).

Don't notice much difference. Bit more dopey and flat, which makes sense, as serotonin does the opposite of that.

Nothing like doing the same with Seroquel.

Oh auntblabby, I don't like deep frying - especially inebriated :?

I've almost got the oil to 180°C (356°F)

Fluke digital Laser thermometer. Point and shoot. Red beam goes into the oil, reading comes up on the little screen on the back of the gun. MAGIC! :)

I'm a smart Aspie auntblabby. I will.

Well, it's nice but I don't know if it's worth all the effort of blending, grinding and mixing for ages at a time when I can just go to Woolworths and grab a packet of Tandaco Chicken Coating and be done with it.

Yeah, bugger it. Tandaco's the way to go! Can you deep fry it? I think it's only oven shtuff!

I think it is a noble cuisine you are making, but since it is so time and energy-intensive you should save it for special occasions.

Round 2: Tandaco Southern Style Chicken Coating

The strange thing about this is I haven't eaten or slept in the last 5 days. Just haven't felt hungry. But I'm making all this chicken.

I actually like cooking it more than eating it. Go figure.

This is a special occasion auntblabby. I'm all alone! :) I'm all by myself! I'm so happy, I'm salivating (and it's not the chicken)! :)

Well, it's all over bar the shootin', auntblabby. I survived the deep fryer!

Now it's all cooked, I'm not hungry. Dang! That always happens to me! :(

Tastes good though.

Well, they don't mention it on the packet but you certainly can deep fry Tandaco Southern Fried Chicken Coating.

I just wish I was hungry enough to eat the buggers!
