I wanted to become a professional cat patter.

I was going to start up a business and call it "The Professional Cat Pattery Service"

I often feel like a child trapped inside an adult's body!

Cut my mother's hair again (she was a hairdresser in her early twenties, so she has told me the basics, and backseat cuts as I do; the arguments are fun :P).

I'm not that bad, really.

Considering my idea of a haircut has always been, shave it off, plus my clumsy sausage fingers....

Dill scissorhands.

despite all that you must've done fairly well, to still be here ;)
my idea of a haircut is to just let it grow, I've been doing that several years now :afro:

Watching the Dragon launch was freaking awesome (so was the latest Orion one, but that wasn't just a couple of hours ago).

Needs moar Kerbals though.

That's actually true for me too. When I was younger, I was far more 'adult' than the other children. They used to run around like lunatics! I liked going to the library to increase my knowledge of what I was interested in but somewhere along the way to growing up, I seem to have remained naive and - not immature - just young for my age!

I'm quite capable but in my mind, I'm still very young.

God, my neighbor is cool. He's just left to go home (it's 11:14pm Sydney Australia time)

We just sat here and watched American Sniper (good movie)

Not only can I talk his ears off about Asperger's and Myna Birds but I just rocked back and forth in front of him whilst watching the movie with him and he never said boo! I rocked through most of the movie and he said NOTHING! :D

It's nice to have someone you can be totally yourself in front of.

I've had so many years of being told to shut up about my Special Interests, this is such a Godsend!

Sorry! To be honest, there was ONE time there, my partner, Kathy decided she wanted to learn how the Internet worked and wanted me to explain TCP/IP to her. (TCP/IP was my MAIN Special Interest for over 15 years!) I tried to explain it to her but she got impatient (as she usually did) and gave up.

Then it was back to "Shut up about computers!"

I can feel a night of Asperger's Special Interest research night coming on. Videos, articles, books! :)
