I wonder if I could get away with charging my students extra for me remembering to look at them and make eye contact? That part of the job takes a lot more effort than the teaching itself, which is just transmitting information.

Hell hath no fury like the vast robot armies of a woman scorned.

Ack, Stoltzman. His playing makes my skin crawl. Too much vibrato and his expression is way too overblown.

i heard an ad about an hour ago on tv. it was an ad about funeral insurance.

some woman with 2 moles on her face (they were majorly distracting) said "no one ever plans to get sick, or even more serious...die unexpectedly..."

it is a major tautology (i guess) to say that someone never planned to experience something unexpected.

i was elated at the entertainment value of that ad.
i hope it comes on again tonight so i can laugh again at it.

No you're not. I often desire to stay in a place minus all our modern conveniences and of course far from the rat race of life. I guess time will slow down then. It's impossible in our modern world I reckon.

I liked how the two Melbourne Cup horses who came first and second had names of "Shocking" and "Crime Scene" respectively.

Shocking Crime Scene :P.
