I don't know what school you go to, or what schools are like now (I graduated in 1994). None of the schools I went to allowed food or drink in the classroom, even chewing gum was prohibited. All food was to be eaten in the cafeteria or dining hall.

My father is currently a High School teacher and the school he teaches at dosen't allow food, drink or gum in any of the classrooms either.

Forgive me, if I have come across harshly, that was not my intent.
