what shoes/shirts do most people wear with jeans?

T-shirts and runners.

If you want to look like everyone else: T-shirt or sweatshirt and tennis shoes (sneakers, trainers, whatever they're calling them this year in the country of your choice).

If you don't want to look like everyone else, wear whatever you want and don't worry about other people's opinions.

Personally, I would go with the latter.

Pretty much anything goes with jeans

yeah, anything goes with jeans. I'm wearing black jeans with a flannelet buttoned up shirt, with Macbeth shoes.

I think jeans are fairly universal. I usually wear them with work boots and either a T-shirt or a sweater.

Jeans are perfect to dress down or dress up!!

Women can get away with pretty much anything, trainers, stilleto's, boots, caterpillars, wedges, flipflops

For men, trainers, beige lace up chunky shoes or reefs even, even tennis shoes or yachtie slipons. Very flexible so you just go with what you feel comfortable in. In this day and age pretty much anything goes

But my personal choice for women is UGGS for winter, flipflops for summer and beige shoes with blue jeans very western!! For men I do like the beige caterpillar style shoes, or decent trainers! Just my opinion though

Kaftans for women and polo shirts for guys looks good! Ooh and a denim shirt for the guys!! YUM YUM!!

Ew Uggs. Girls here in winter would wear a short skirt with ugg boots - what was the point of that?

And how about shirts? do certain types shirts go with certain types of shoes?

Anything really... fancy tops, t-shirts, singlets. Heaps of stuff goes.

UGGS ARE KOOL with Jeans but with short skirts and bare legs, I see little point, only a fashion statement that I don't particularly hold with.

Shirts can be the formal type, or polo style, TShirts look great, a white Tshirt with jeans and CATS look great as does black jeans, to be honest the CAT style beige boots go with ANY SHIRT!! Formal white shirt may look better with black shoes, very designer especially with a jumper slung around your shoulders, quite a smart denim look. Or then you could stick a pair of reefs on in the summer with a tatty Tshirt and it looks just as trendy!

Personally white trainers have seen their day, just remember if you are going to wear trainers wear socks with them AND never wear socks with sandals!! YUK!
