Oh I used to do that too - somebody actually had to pull me aside and explain the effect.
And then give evidence to back up their claim before I believed them.
So know I don't do it all the time, just occasionally.

QFT! I do NOT understand the padding. I won't buy those bras, as a result, unless I can be reasonably certain I can remove the padding without destroying the integrity of the bra.

I as a busty lady actually love the molded cup bras that have some even padding (not the push-up ones where half the cup is pad). They provide nipple coverage and especially when my boobs are sore I appreciate the little bit of cushion. I also like the shape (plain cloth cups always look super weird to me) and smoothness under clothes.
I wish we had as many options to chose from as other sizes so we could all match our preference.

I also wear a corset when it's cool enough. Feels lovely to have the strain off the shoulders.

I never realized what a hassle it is to be a woman, and a busty woman in particular. Maybe alerting you all to BGC will somehow make up for all my years of crude adolescent behavior.

I'm a 34DD and being a busty girl is difficult. It's hard for me to find cute bras in my size that are supportive enough in stores. It seems like "If you're not a 34 or 36 band and an A, B, or C cup, forget about it."

Personal pet peeve: not finding sports bras that don't show cleavage, don't allow bounce, and don't cost $45. Also, colors: only push-up bras come in nice colors, it seems.

Agreed. Ladies, there is a difference between padded bras and molded bras. Padded bras are made out of one layer of normal, thin material, but have little pockets into which pads have been inserted. Sometimes the pads are sewn in, and not removable. Sometimes they are removable, and you can take them out. Molded bras, on the other hand, are made out of two layers of thin material, in between which there is a thin layer of foam. Molded bras are literally "molded" into the shape of a breast. When you take them off, the cups don't go all floppy. They stay curved. That layer of foam is not there to make your boobs look bigger. It's a very thin layer of foam. Rather, it's there to keep things smooth.

A lot of people don't seem to know the difference between padded and molded. Even the retailers don't know the difference sometimes. I bought some molded T-shirt bras online and then tried to submit a review saying something like this: "these are nice comfy bras but the description, currently stating them to be padded bras, is wrong. They're molded." My review was rejected and never published. I suppose the retailer didn't like being told that they were wrong.

I have never worn a padded bra in my life because I have no need to. However, molded bras are my bras of choice. 1. They're warmer due to the layer of foam. 2. The layer of foam minimises nipple visibility. 3. The layer of foam also minimises pain if your breast happens to be bashed against something sharp. 4. The layer of foam is so thin that it doesn't make things look much bigger. 5. Molded bras tend to be totally smooth and soft, with no nasty itchy lace on them at all. They're best for sensitive skin. 6. Because molded bras are smooth all over, there is no show-through of lacey patterns through clothing. I can't help thinking it looks awfully trashy when you can see the pattern of a woman's lacy bra through her clothing! So basically I love molded bras.

As if I want clumsy enough I can't see my feet.(that's why I have small feet cause things don't grow good in the shade ),I hate it when men ask me if they are real Mine are homegrown.

Exactly. I would never wear a bra that wasn't moulded. I don't generally feel like my boobs are that big, but I do have issues with tops fitting properly sometimes.

Corsets do give a good relief for the shoulders.
