I wear weird things.

I gave up jeans a long time ago, b/c I can't find jeans that fit me (I'm super-short with wide hips).
I wear lots of eclectic dresses. I like foreign, eclectic, different stuff.
I'm obsessed with scarves and head-scarves (not anything religious, fyi).

People tell me I look like a hippie. I don't care about that.

Currently my style is kind of aggressively grandma/non-sexy-librarian. At home I wear jeans and t-shirts and at work I tend to wear blouses with sweaters and either slacks or skirts with tights. I'm experimenting with heels and makeup but I'm not sure how successfully. Otherwise I'm bare-faced and flat-shoed.

I don't mind popular fashions but I usually take a while to warm up to them. I didn't get my first pair of skinny jeans until about 2 years after they came into fashion. Now my number of various coloured jeans are my wardrobe staples. On my upper body it's t-shirts, cami's and tanks. I always try to wear a baggy sort of top with skinnies and if I have loose pants I will wear a tighter fitting top. I always have hard trouble finding dresses that look very good so I don't have many of those. It's the opposite for long maxi-dresses though, I can wear them very easily (no bra needed, just undies), and they're flattering on me as they cover all of my legs.
I used to pretty much wear my thongs all the time except for winter, but I got a nice pair of ballet flats for xmas and I've been wearing them too.

You'll seldom catch me with bare legs at work. It's long black slacks all year, even in summer, with my compulsory uniform shirt and either Docs or pixie boots.
