if that's supposed to be an indirect jab at my looks, i'll try not to be too devastated that you're not attracted to me. it will hurt and it will be damned hard, but with time i think i will learn to love myself again without your approval.

I specifically asked, have you ever said at some point in your life, " men are this" in any kind of way whatsoever? I was asking you to be honest because from what I can see trying to trap you into admitting anything you've said is a generalisation against men is an act of futility because no matter what I do point out about your previous behaviour you will do one of your magic changing the subject tricks again.

So instead, I was asking for self honesty. Have you, at any point in your life, ever made a generalisation about men where you've said something like " men are this way" ?

And I'll give you a clue. Yes you have. As everyone has. The only difference is that you set standards for others that you make no attempt to meet yourself. Grow up, self deception is a supremely unattractive trait.

Can people just admit this is normal and everyone does it, rather than demonising the people that are honest enough to admit it?

"White knighting" is a form of sexism in which the man decides everyone needs to let him play the hero by sweeping in and rescuing the damsel. It's a marvelous way of making someone else's problem all about himself and his opportunity to prove himself wonderful. The woman becomes a passive object that exists for the sole purpose of letting him be recognizably wonderful and chivalrous. If you're a woman and you want a fight with a guy like this, try solving your own problems, or pointing out that the scene isn't actually about him -- he'll accuse you of trying to castrate him, one way or another, and get irritable about how you don't need him.

Ever consider that it was you not comprehending my points rather than me not making any? And I in no way attacked anyone personally, I only attack their opinions. not that I care to have my own misrepresented words sent back to me, I have no intention of getting bogged down in this because you can't grasp what I'm saying. If you want anything clarified I suggest you retread what I've put because I ain't got the time to restate myself in ten different ways so you can grasp it.

Billiscool, don't argue with these hypocrites. They don't fight fair, they abuse the rules. We both know its true but they're liars to themselves and like a lot of women hide behind technicalities and change the goal posts. You will never beat a self liar in an argument, not in their minds. Just know you're right and walk away because that's what they find the most frustrating. Females like this are too social, which equals them finding the idea of people having their own opinions and ideas supremely intimidating. They don't understand the male independence of mind and never will. Leave them to their group deception. Don't worry, there are definitely logical girls out there that can understand a logical thought, there just aren't any here.

If you loved yourself you wouldn't be so threatened by a difference of opinion . You'd be the way i am basically.

it is possible i may have said something along the lines of "men are stupid" or "men only want one thing" when i was a teenager/young adult--but i no longer say such things because i learned it was ignorant and hurtful to do so.
