Premenopaus, or permimenopaus is a time when your ovarian function starts to become erratic and you may notices changes in your menstrual cycle, such as more frequent periods, or less frequent periods, or heavier periods, or lighter periods. Any change to your menstrual cycle should be investigated by a doctor, however.
