Does anybody know where I can find Japanese DVD's with subtitles for the hearing impaired IN japanese? Does anybody know anybody know might know where I can find Japanese DVD's with subtitles for the hearing impaired in japanese? They've got to have them over there. They have deaf over there don't they? Does anybody know a bilingual living in japan that can give me the low down on japanese DVD's with japanese subtitles for the hearing impaired? Try http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/ - the catch is that you'll need an all-region DVD player to play them.
We bought one (I'll try to check on the brand when I'm not at work for you) for about $50 that we hacked from a USA code to a no-code by keying in a series of numbers via the remote control. Can now play DVDs from anywhere in the world on it. Will ask my kid, the genius hacker, to remind me how to do it. It may take a day or two - standby!
If you dont mind doing something of questionable legality (though its always impossible to tell if its illegal before hand or not) and of iffy quality check over at ebay.
