we all heard them myths, that people associated with autism even the silliest things.
a lot of these myths people also associated with order disorder lol

1. if i'm non verbal then i have no understanding of language.

wrong idiots

That we all lack a sense of humor.

bullocks.

2. If I'm not rocking in the corner while playing with a string, then I cannot be autistic and I'm just like everyone else.

3. Lacking emotions, I was told that before that an autistic guy lacked emotions and I could treat him anyway I wanted to.

4. We've got a higher chance of committing crimes.

Wrong dumbasses.

5. See other people "as objects." (I mean, people are objects, technically, but you know...)

We're all jerks.

That we can't feel fear?

Or how about functioning levels? They're a myth.

How about the myth that we're trapped, suffering horribly, in our own little world that resembles nothing more than a jail cell? (It's rather more comfortable than the real world for me, anyway. And I've heard some people on the spectrum say they don't even have an inner world.)

That we all try to hang on to a sameness. If that's the case, than why did I change my ways, for the better, last September? Huh? Huh? And I did it, for me.

You can't have AS. You don't talk about the same thing all the time.
