Craigslist is much simpler. I got a really sweet deal with my car.

I wouldn't be so sure.

I suck at math, and I'm mediocre at computers, and prefer 'soft' sciences like biology and psychology, but I generally get along quite well with math/computer geeks. As long as I'm not too vocal about my dislike of math, that is.

Right now, I'm one of the backers (paid money to fund it) for Steve Grand's Grandroids project, and being a backer gives me access to a forum of fellow backers. Most of them are computer programmers or in other stereotypically geeky careers, but I get along just fine with them. It's actually a very interesting community.

I spent the first decade or so of my life in San Jose. Tried to get back several times, but it's really hard, especially if your field is not tech.

Wish I lived anywhere even remotely close to Silicon Valley. It's where I belong, I think. =P

I have a cousin who lives in Norway who says she could never again live anywhere in the U.S. I'm not sure if she's aspie or not, but has some traits. She loves how your culture is much more accepting of introverts (according to her). Is this true?

I kinda think it is. I don't really know how things are in the US. But being introverted is very much accepted here I would say. You usually get to sit alone on the buss for instance. You would actually get looked at if you were to sit next to someone when there are vacant double seats. And we rarely talk to strangers, only if we have to.

So yeah... I like living in Norway. The reason I want to move to Silicon Valley is that I need a job. And there are really few jobs that interests me here in Norway.

<--- Wouldn't be a good fit for Silicon Valley. Hell, isn't really a good fit right here in Seattle. The diversity, especially when it comes to food, does intrigue him, though.

I moved out to Silicon valley 3 years ago and hope to live in the area the rest of my life because I feel I belong here for once. The rest of the US I never had that feeling. I dont care if I have to share rent a house or apartment I am fine with that.

I lived in berkeley for a year. i love the bay area. im going back this fall. im your stereotypical aspie that is good at math but im no genius.
